Nederlandse donatie dankbaar ontvangen door nieuwe directeur KISC

De Nederlandse fundraising actie voor KISC heeft € 1.900 opgeleverd en een hele stapel pannen met deksels. Dit hebben we gedaan met de crowd-funding website van Scouting Nederland en tijdens de Kander100 met verkoop van stroopwafels en dasklompjes. Tijdens de General Assembly heeft de nieuwe directeur Pani de donatie in ontvangst genomen. 

Kandersteg International Scout Centre and the Dutch Scout Association have a long history of cooperation and connection. Over the decades, the contribution of the Netherlands at KISC has been an outstanding one. From staff members, to work parties, guests and committee members too, the relationship between both organisations is one we seek to keep for many more years to come and we will do what is in our hands to work hard to maintain it. 

More recently, at our General Assembly, we were granted a full set of kitchen equipment that the Dutch Scout Association worked hard to provide to KISC. In addition to that, they contributed € 1’900 to push the centre further into the future and support us with the implementation of Solar energy panels. 

We are incredibly grateful for this contribution, and we are even more grateful for the long-standing relationship that we have been able to maintain and care for.
